Evaluating Stuff You Should Know: "Hypnosis: You're Getting Sleepy"

You have access to a wide variety of information online through blogs, podcasts, wickipedia and other media outlets. Some of this information is good, factual information. Some of it is not worth the bandwidth being used to funnel it to your computer. Some of it is a little of both. Such is the case for this particular episode of the Stuff You Should Know podcast.

As I listened to this episode, I was initially pleased with the accuracy of the information being presented about hyponosis. The key word here is "initially." By the middle of the episode I was cursing at the hosts (I must have looked like a madwoman since I was listening to it as I commuted home from work).

For Homework Assignment #4, I would like you to listen to and evaluate this podcast based on the information you have learned in class and in the "Truth and Hype of Hypnosis" article.
