Mosquito Ringtone

There is a cell phone ringtone called the "Mosquito Ringtone" or "Teen Buzz" that is supposed to be audible only to young adults. The basic idea is that, with this ringtone, a student can hear their phone ring in class (or other places where they are not supposed to use cell phones) but the teacher or other authority figure can not.

1.) In your own words, explain how this ringtone is supposed to work.

2.) Use what you learned in the auditory perception lectures to explain why this ringtone should work the way that it is supposed to work (be sure to refer to the information on the kHz ranges that different ages groups are more or less sensitive to).

3.) Use what you learned in the auditory perception lectures toprovide at least two reasons why the ringtone might not work (young people not being able to hear it or older people being able to hear it)
